Blessed Mother's Day

Happy Mother’s Day!  I am so blessed. I woke up this morning and turned to my husband and said, "I am momma to 5 babies! I have had 5 babies grow in my womb."  That’s pretty amazing.  I know many of you think Mother’s Day was going to be unbearable for me, especially with the pain I went through last week during my birthday, but God is so amazing and has provided me with amazing comfort today.

For thus says the Lord:
"Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river,
And the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream.
Then you shall feed;
On her sides shall you be carried,
And be dandled on her knees.
As one whom hi smother comforts,
So I will comfort you;
And you shall be comforted in Jerusalem."
Isaiah 66: 12-13

I am so blessed to have mothered 5 beautiful children.  Although 2 are not with us I give all glory to God for his 5 amazing gifts.

Baby #1
Name: Rayne Theodora

Age when I had her: 19

Age she is now: 25

What I remember most: Rayne came into this world with her umbilical cord around her neck, they whisked her away but she ended up being super healthy and my biggest baby at 8 pounds, 14 ounces! She had the cutest little Brooklyn accent when she was a toddler.

My prayer for her: Rayne I pray you find the peace only Jesus can give you. I pray you find the same love, acceptance, and forgiveness I have found in my Lord and Savior. You are pretty amazing and I love you! Thank you for making me a momma!

Baby #2

Name: Autumn Grace

Age when I had her: 25

Age she is now: 19

What I remember most: Autumn came into this world and was so peaceful and quiet. She had the sweetest smile and the greatest contagious laugh (and still does).  She was born a baldy and ended up with a massive head of curls by her 2nd birthday.

My prayer for her: Autumn I pray you feel the almighty power of Christ. That you turn to Him and make Him your Lord and Savior. I pray you have the courage to take the next step in your Faith journey, I promise you will not regret it!  You have turned into an amazing woman who has been here to support me during my darkest hours. I love you very much Autumn Grace!

Baby #3

Name: Adeline Cadence Zeruiah

Age when I had her: 41

Age she is now: 3

What I remember most: When I was ready to push Adeline out I began to cry uncontrollably, I was so overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness and His amazing healing power.  She made me a super breastfeeding momma!

My prayer for her: Adeline, I pray you learn to love the Lord your God with all you heart, soul, mind, and strength. I pray your heart desires an intimate, real, amazing relationship with Christ. You are one beautiful and awesome human being!

Baby #4
Name: Ruby

Age when I was pregnant with her: 42

Age she is now: She is in heaven after we miscarried her at 9 weeks

What I remember most: When we found out we were pregnant with Ruby we were in shock. We were not ready to be pregnant again but I remember growing extremely attached to her even if it was for a few weeks.

My prayer for her:  Ruby, even though we never met you we loved you dearly. The evening I lost you was extremely painful.  You were our baby, not a fetus, not a cluster of cells but our baby....we saw your heart beat and your lungs breathing. May your memory remind us how amazing our God is.

Baby #5
Name: Josiah Eli Robert

Age when I had him: 43

Age he is now:  He is in heaven with Jesus and just celebrated his 1st birthday there!

What I remember most: Josiah literally shot out of my womb!  He came out so fast and so loud! He reminded me of his big sister Autumn with his bald head.  He was the baby that looked most like me.

My prayer for him: Josiah I cant explain how much I miss you but I am reminded everyday that you are in such an incredible place! Wow Josiah I can only imagine what it is like for you in Heaven. Praise be to God that I know, without a shadow of a doubt, that you are in the presence of the Most High King! My prayer is that your life continues to tough lives, continues to show people that Christ is alive, and continues to point the lost to the King.

Sincerely,

Momma to Rayne, Autumn, Adeline, Ruby, & Josiah
